OK...so you got this far and there has been no price list nor many pictures.
NOW THERE IS...and more to come soon.
Scattered on this page are various examples of our dinnerware. And we will consider orders for items that we don't normally make or keep in stock. If you have a special request or other questions please call or email and we'll br glad to help.
A dinnerware price list is also displayed down the page. A more complete list of StarKeeper and other items is on the price page.
Someday we will post a better explanation of how we make dinnerware on the process page...but for now here is a simple explanation.
All items are thrown on the potters' wheel - not pressed or molded - so there can be slight variations in size.
We formulate and ball mill the underglaze colors and then apply with airbrush to achieve the blended background that we hand paint with designs.
We use Trinity Ceramic white modeling clay or Armadillo longhorn clay for the items. After days of throwing, drying, trimming, coloring, and two firings we get a final product. Fired to cone 04 with food safe glazes the result is a durable bright colorful pottery that will serve you well for many years.
