Someday we will post a better explanation of how we make dinnerware on the process page...but for now here is a simple explanation.
All items are thrown on the potters' wheel - not pressed or molded - so there can be slight variations in size.
We formulate and ball mill the underglaze colors and then apply with airbrush to achieve the blended background that we hand paint with designs.
We use Trinity Ceramic white modeling clay or Armadillo longhorn clay for the items. After days of throwing, drying, trimming, coloring, and two firings we get a final product. Fired to cone 04 with food safe glazes the result is a durable bright colorful pottery that will serve you well for many years.

The new multi-stripe designs use color combinations way to numerous to list. If you are interested in these designs I can email pictures of what we have in stock or we will consider orders with your suggestion of colors. Large platters can have up to 5 colors used.
These 10 color schemes are usually in stock . To order use the number on the scheme. Computers and pictures don't do justice to the colors. Some are very intense.
