While the Art Center is my whole, the pottery shop has been the heart of my life since 1971 when two friends and I purchased a 3 acre old chicken farm and thus the name. The Old Chicken Art Center started around the pottery shop and has grown into a premier destination in West Texas.

The StarKeeper is a short -very short- story I wrote that has been popular with people.

Striped dinnerware and serving pieces are made to be used, and hang nicely on the wall as decorative pieces between parties. Also on this page are new multi stripe designs that are colorful and getting rave reviews. Then invite me for dinner !
Big Ass Dancers are not meant to offend anyone. Actually that is a term of endearment in Texas. If you haven't been to London Texas on a Starry Starry Night and 2 stepped with a long neck in one hand and a Big Ass dancer in the other then you still have some living to do. Some day I hope to get the complete story together . It will be a homage to Goddess' and be titled Saints, Whores, and Other Good Ole Gals.
Animal Spirits are generally done on large platters that are wired to hang but can be taken down and used as serving pieces. The bear, deer, buffalo, and eagle are common themes but we have made commissions with all kind of animals. Who hasn't looked up to the clouds and seen a horse running or some kind of animal spirit ?
Sharing the Stars
Mandalas and Quilted Clay series are on large platters. Each piece is an original design. These are some of the most fun items to do. The quilted series was inspired by the famous annual quilt show in Sisters Oregon. All the dots remind me of stiching.
This Baptismal Font was made for Holy Angels Church in San Angelo Texas. 450 pounds of clay thrown on a wheel we designed and built. And the water works great into the pool, for which we created the .tile
